Grandchild Number Two

Yesterday at just after 3pm, Tash gave birth to a baby girl at St John of God Subiaco. As always, the naming was nearly as anticipated as the birth. And how do you follow Otto Joseph Gibbs? With Ginger Lightly Gibbs, of course!
The Gibbs and Monghan clans descended on mass to get their first cuddle with Ginger. As most of you know, Otto is a mini Nathan and from all reports, Ginger is a mini Tash with dark curly hair. The occasion was made more joyous because Dad was there in the thick of it. He is so delighted in having a beautiful little granddaugter. Ash serentipitously flew to Perth yesterday so I am the lone Gibbs left to document the event from afar. We are all so grateful that Dad has had the determination and fight to see and hold his granddaughter - nothing can be more life fullfilling than that. Photos to follow.

How gorgeous, a little sister for Otto. What a great name: the ginger plant is one of the strongest plants with the most delicate aroma, and it is prolific, loves to gets its roots in every corner of the garden. Congtaulations to you all. Blessings to Paige and Paul for Tuesday also, what a week for the Gibbs Family.
Lots of love,

What fabulous news and just the get well tonic Geoff and Carol need. Grandchildren are a gift from God. They used to tell me that about my children, didn't believe them at the time, but they make up for it with Grandchildren. They are much better entertainment than television. I love the name and no one will forget this little jewel in the crown of great achievements.
Lots of love and best wishes Lynne Woolfenden and all the Woolfenden sprogs.

Ashleigh and all

Thank you for sharing everything with us through this blog. It is both devastating and beautiful to read.

My thoughts are with you all. Each time i go by the house with Emma i look for a hopeful sign that the car is in.

Lots of love to Geoff and all of you.
